“KHIR TOYO: Apa Kata Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim??? ||| @ MalaysiaKini”

I think we must first unravel the facts. What I have done is ask the relevant departments to give me a report on whether these accusations are real or just hollow accusations. Following that, we’ll review them.

If there is a case for saying this is misappropriation or misuse of power or corruption, then the state will take necessary action. We are at the first stage, not the second stage. You ask me whether we will pursue it, my answer is yes. But we cannot pursue out of sentiments, we have to pursue with the facts.

Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said yesterday that his government will stay the course embarked by his predecessor Dr Mohd Khir Toyo to eradicate all ‘squatter’ settlements in the state.

Mohd Khir’s ‘zero squatters’ policy – and the demolition of sometimes decades-old settlements that accompanied it – had caused outrage among many sectors of the civil society and political activists.

Therefore, it must come as a surprise to these quarters that the decision to continue with the stand comes from Khalid, whose party PKR was at the forefront of efforts to uphold the rights of, among others, the Kampung Berembang settlement off Jalan Ampang.

to my honourable opposition leaders! DAP-PKR-PAS!
Pls start a new media station or printed newspaper as soon possible. Many of us outside here (rakyat) fed up with the government control media which reports false and racial based information. Pls help to overcome this problem. thanks

To Jason – pls do not address DAP/PKR/PAS as opposition leaders. They are not the opposition leaders. They are the Selangor, Penang, Perak and Kelatan state govt leaders. Oppositions leaders in Selangor are Khir Toyol and his jing gang. At national level, I believe BN lost and Badawiand his jing gang should be opposition leaders and we should have created history by having the first lady Prime Minister (even though likely to be brief period of time). And I wish DAP/PKR/PAS can live up to the people’s expectations. Otherwise they will be voted out in GE13.
